THEIA Mac OS
- About This Game Thea 2: The Shattering is a follow-up to the successful Thea: The Awakening, which brings the idea of innovative genre hybrid, with elements of turn-based, 4X strategy, survival, RPG and a card game, to entirely new and thoroughly polished level.
- A big thank-you goes out to Pascal Rapicault and Brian de Alwis for the work on native Mac installs. Tom Watson deserves the credit for leading OSGi, Equinox and the Runtime effort at Eclipse.
- Theia is, essentially, a cloud-focused version of the VS Code with some additional 'improvements'. You get access to most of VS Code goodness, with even more customizability and extendability built over it.
The 'classic' Mac OS is the original Macintosh operating system that was introduced in 1984 alongside the first Macintosh and remained in primary use on Macs until the introduction of Mac OS X in 2001.
Theia Mac Os Catalina
Theia is an open-source integrated development environment that is web based and can be self-hosted on any server and easy deployed via docker. It allows you to pull any git repository make quick edits to files within your browser and push those changes back to a repository with ease. Theia supports multiple code languages and contains full featured integrated terminal.
I use Theia to edit files that are in my git repository that is self-hosted by gitea. I am currently using it to type up this blog post. Because they don’t have an armhf
compatible docker image, I am running the container on docker in an amd64
environment.
Installation
To install Theia on Docker, run the following command in terminal:
The above command will spin up an instance of Theia on port 8050. Once it is running, you can access the application by visiting http://HOSTIP:8050
